Anonymous Labs has teamed up with Banijay Rights to bring the multi-award-winning TV show, Peaky Blinders to the world of Web3. Banijay Rights, the global distributor of the hit TV series is leveraging Anonymous Labs’ Web3 venture studio to expand the show’s reach into blockchain gaming and the wider Web3 ecosystem.
According to the announcement on Thursday, the two companies will collaborate to build a AAA gaming title, with an emphasis on quality. The game also features elements of Web3 including digital collectables and community engagement.
The gameplay features a decentralised version of the streets of 1920s London, where fans can engage in various activities, including completing missions. Fans will be able to high-stakes missions, craft their own Shelby-style legacy (the family the series is built around), and engage with the Peaky Blinders universe.
Commenting on the announcement, Wojciech Gruszka, head of Development at Peaky Blinders Web3 Game, said in a statement: “Peaky Blinders is arguably the biggest IP to date to embark on building a blockchain-based project, and I see this as a defining moment for the entire Web3 industry.”
“This project is not just about creating an incredible user experience—it’s a gateway to bringing blockchain new revenue streams and building brand loyalty in the Web3 space,” he added.
The collaboration aims to onboard traditional Peaky Blinders fans into the world of crypto through interactive storytelling and gameplay.
