Blender Cycles has been integrated into the Render Network’s closed beta, offering decentralized GPU rendering to millions of artists. This marks a significant step in expanding Render’s multi-render capabilities.

Blender Cycles, the renowned GPU ray-tracing render engine, has officially entered closed beta on the Render Network, according to Render Network. This integration aims to provide millions of artists with access to decentralized GPU cloud rendering power, enhancing the capabilities of the leading open-source 3D ecosystem.

Expansion of Multi-Render Capabilities

The integration of Blender Cycles is part of a broader strategy to expand the Render Network’s multi-render capabilities. Earlier in the year, the network introduced beta support for Maxon’s Redshift, complemented by native Cinema 4D file support and a newly launched Render Network Cinema 4D Wizard. This addition allows Redshift and Octane Cinema 4D artists to seamlessly transfer scenes to the Render Network through a streamlined, artist-friendly workflow.

With Redshift now joining Octane on the Render Network, the platform offers a frictionless experience for artists working within the industry’s leading GPU rendering pipelines. The network’s capabilities ensure a simplified production workflow for users.

Integration and Features

The integration of Blender’s Cycles was showcased at Blender’s BCON Amsterdam event, highlighting the collaboration between developers and creators within the Blender ecosystem. The new integration will include a Render Network Blender Wizard, facilitating an easy push-button export from Blender directly to the Render Network. This feature includes a scene checker to ensure compatibility and correct rendering on the network.

Artists and developers interested in participating in the closed beta can apply by completing a survey provided by the Render Network. This initiative opens up new opportunities for artists to leverage powerful decentralized rendering capabilities.

Community Engagement

The Render Network encourages community engagement and knowledge sharing through various platforms, including Discord, Facebook, Github, LinkedIn, Reddit, Telegram, and X. Artists and developers are invited to stay updated with the latest developments and participate in discussions via Twitter Spaces.

For more information about the Render Network and its capabilities, interested parties can visit the official Render Network website.
