If you’ve been looking for a way to bring your local VeeFriends TCG community together — or level up the events you’re already running — this is your moment. With the VF Play Network now live, we’re officially opening the doors for sanctioned tournament submissions.
Sanctioned tournaments are community-organized events officially recognized by VeeFriends. They give players more opportunities to compete, test their decks, and earn leaderboard points in the lead-up to official events. Whether you’re hosting in a local shop or setting up something larger, these tournaments are the frontlines of TCG play in 2025.
The cut off to host a sanctioned tournament is November 30, 2025. To count toward the leaderboard, all sanctioned events must be completed by 11:59 PM EST on November 30, 2025 and meet minimum execution standards.
The VeeFriends Trading Card Game tournament season will conclude in December 2025.
STEP 1: CREATE/LOG IN TO YOUR ACCOUNT.

STEP 2: SUBMIT ORGANIZER APPLICATION.

Once approved as an official ‘Sanctioned Tournament Organizer’ you can create your official Sanctioned Tournament

Location: 21–10 51st Ave, Long Island City, NY
Time: 5:30 PM
Check-In Starts @ 4:00 PM (all decks must be registered prior to check-in). Game Play promptly starts at 5:30 PM
Format: 5-matches of Swiss Play; Single Elimination Top 8 (best 2/3 matches) ; Championship (best 2/3 matches)
Registration Fee: $25 / participant

Chicago Regional Qualifier Event
If you’re unable to participate in the New York qualifier, your next opportunity to compete at a regional qualifier will be in Chicago this July! Same gameplay format, new city. Registration for this event is not yet open.

With the launch of the Play Network, the VeeFriends TCG leaderboard is live — bringing a clear, competitive structure to every match you play. As events take place, the leaderboard will update in real time. To count toward the leaderboard, all sanctioned events must be completed by 11:59 PM EST on November 30, 2025 and meet minimum execution standards.
Here’s how the points work for the new season:
Each event has its own points multiplier to boost your total!
Participation = 1 point
Match Wins = 2 point each
Multipliers:
Registered Store/Vendor Event(s) = x1Sanctioned Tournaments = x2Official Road to the VF Championship Event(s) = x3Official VF Championship = x5
Example:
Andy and Adam go to a Road To VF Championship event and play five rounds. Andy wins only one round, so he earns (1 + 2) x 3 = 9 points. If Adam wins all his rounds, he will earn (1 + 10) x 3 = 30 points.
