Just two days before VeeFriends launched, its mascot was set to be Capable Caterpillar until Gary Vaynerchuk made a last-minute decision to replace it with Very, Very, Very, Very Lucky Black Cat. The change was made to better align with VeeFriends’ vision, embracing themes of resilience, misunderstood potential, and rewriting narratives — much like the black cat, long associated with bad luck, but now a symbol of hidden strength and opportunity. Now an iconic symbol of VeeFriends, the Lucky Black Cat embodies the philosophy of perspective and embracing life’s contradictions.

VeeFriends is partnering with Lee Enterprises to bring VeeFriends Comics to 72 markets across 25 states, appearing in both print and digital formats every Sunday starting February 23, 2025.
